In the fifth Test of the series on Sunday, the Indian men's hockey team lost to the formidable Australians.

The final Test between India and Australia ended in a 4-5 loss for India, despite Harmanpreet Singh's best efforts.

This resulted in India losing the five-match hockey series versus Australia by a score of 4-1.

India got off to a rough start. When Wickham scored from the top of the circle in the first period, they were taken aback.

With Lachlan Sharp's assistance, he later doubled the Kangaroos' lead in the 17th minute of the second quarter.

Harmanpreet, the captain of India, scored India's first goal in the second quarter (24th minute) by converting a penalty corner, but Australia maintained a 2-goal lead by scoring just before the first half's finish.

Australia kept up the pressure in the second half and scored twice to make it 5-2 before India came back strongly with Sukhjeet's goal and Harmanpreet's penalty corner hit.

However, the damage was already done, and India ran out of time to tie the game.
